As you may well be aware, the Health and Safety Executive are shortly to legislate the new Management of on road risk (M.O.R.R)
Why should this interest you?
New laws now hold the management accountable for the health and safety of their drivers. Management have responsibility also to ensure that others are not put at risk by work- related driving activities
It has been estimated that up to a third of all road accidents involve somebody who is at work at the time. This may account for over 20 fatalities 250 serious injuries every week.Employers who fail to protect their staff and public from harm face fines of up to £20000 and if a case goes to court they could be jailed.If at this present time your only system of on road risk you have is LADY LUCK then perhaps now is the time to think about it.
